Tamara P. Fields is a wife, mother, and grandmother. She received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University, Master of Arts in Social Work from The University of Chicago and she is currently obtaining her Doctorate in Education from Abilene Christian University.
Tamara P. Fields is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor in Texas and Illinois and has been in the field of social work in various capacities since 1997. Her expertise is in mental health counseling with children and adults treating complex trauma and working with families involved in the child welfare system. Currently, Tamara is the Founder and Clinical Director of Crystal Clear Behavioral Health Services Inc. and the Founder and Executive Director of Crystal Clear Children and Youth Services. She is also the founder of The Center for Sandtray and Clinical Training.
Tamara is an adjunct professor in the School of Social Work at Texas A&M University-Central Texas. In addition to serving as a field instructor for various universities in Texas and a clinical supervisor, she is also the Branch Chair for Central Texas and Trustee for the Texas Political Action Committee of the National Association of Social Workers. She is the President-Elect for the Texas Sandtray Association and a Sandtray Therapy Trainer. She is the Executive Producer of the documentary: When the Soul Cries: Trauma.Tears.Triumph on Amazon Prime and Co-Author of Favian and Maven Presents: When Your Body Talks.
